NUEVO LAREDO. -With the aim of incorporating citizens into the labor sector, the Municipal Government, through the Secretariat of Economic Development, will carry out a Mega Employment Fair, which will have 100 companies that will be offering more than 2,000 vacancies.
The event will take place this Thursday, October 13 at the Poly forum La Fe from 9:00 in the morning to 2:00 in the afternoon.
Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal, announced that to facilitate the transfer to this job fair, she will have three transfer points at the S-Mart Revolución, Smart Canseco, and Smart Colinas branches; The departure of the transport will be at 9:00 and 11:00 in the morning, as well as at 1:00 in the afternoon.
The municipal president stressed that economic development has been an area that has had significant growth and in which Nuevo Laredo is consolidated as a benchmark.
“We have made a very important synergy with the different companies in the city and I am sure that everyone who attends will leave with a decent job, we have not taken our finger off the line on the issue of economic recovery and as a result of every day they open new businesses and more companies arrive in the city that contribute to the generation of more workspaces”, he pointed out.
For his part, Rolando Guevara, Secretary of Economic Development, highlighted that around 9,500 people who already have decent employment have been linked through this strategy.
