Democratic Border Texans endorse party candidates

LAREDO, TX. – The political class of Laredo-Webb met with Democratic Border Texans to endorse candidates from their party for different electoral positions.

Ana Laura Cavazos-Ramírez and former judge Jesús Garza, president and vice president, reflected on their political work for candidates who lead Republican opponents.

“We invited four of the ten candidates for mayor of the city,” said Ramírez. “In addition to council members.”

There were five speakers at the podium, including Judge Oscar Liendo, Judge Becky Palomo, Sheriff Martin Cuellar, Congressman Henry Cuellar, as well as State Representative Richard Raymond.

The interest in motivating citizens to vote is facing a crisis because democracy is in danger, stated Cavazos Ramírez.

“The internal regulations only allow us to endorse Democrats,” said Cavazos-Ramírez. “Each of the candidates expressed their political project.”

Cuellar and Cavazos stated that the vote will allow Laredo to continue growing.

Millions of dollars today more than ever have arrived so that the quality of life of Laredo and Webb grows and finds accommodation in different areas of the community, said Congressman Cuellar.

Judge Palomo stated that justice is applied judiciously, responsibly, and fairly.

Former Judge Garza said that the inclusion of Democratic Border Texans is a Democratic Party network that acts independently within internal guidelines to help candidates and seek viable alternatives in the community.
