Current NLD is thriving, joyful, and alive

NUEVO LAREDO. – At the beginning of her second stage of the municipal administration 2021-2024 after the first Government Report, the mayor, Carmen Lilia Canturosas Villarreal, through the Nuevo Laredo Comunica platform, announced important projects that will generate a positive impact in the locality in economic matters, trade and quality of life.
«I am very happy with the results we had in 11 months of work, we are dedicated to rehabilitating and raising up Nuevo Laredo because our public spaces were forgotten and we brought them back to life,» she said.
She highlighted the progress of the federal project for the installation of the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM), which is in the stage of buying and selling land.
Projects are also contemplated with the purpose of increasing the import and export of merchandise, in this sense, Kansas City will make a double railway to have more commercialization routes.
The confidence of private initiative in the Municipal Government is accentuated by the news of more expansions in maquiladoras, as well as the arrival of more companies in Nuevo Laredo. That will be added to the 4 maquiladoras that have started operations from October to date and the record growth in job creation registered in the city.
The municipal president stressed that in this first year of government she had a high impact on the economic development of the city and she will double efforts to raise the name of this border.
«Today, Nuevo Laredo is thriving, it is cheerful, it is alive and our citizens and businessmen trust us, we will continue the work so that the economy continues to detonate and bring more benefits to the city,» she said.
She also declared that the construction of a new municipal high school is planned to be located in the south of Nuevo Laredo to meet the study needs of citizens, and also announced the creation of a planetarium, an unprecedented attraction in the city.
The 2021-2024 Administration invests one thousand 340 million 519 thousand 276 pesos contemplated in the Municipal Public Works Plan, which are divided into items such as Educational Infrastructure, Industrial Parks, Conservation and Maintenance of the City, Public Lighting, Pluvial and Sanitary Drainage, among others, which supported the progress of the aforementioned projects.
