LAREDO, TX. – Plaza Zaragoza was the scene of the eighth edition of the “Making Community” bazaar with a spring theme.
Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas toured the bazaar, encouraging entrepreneurs to continue in this activity.
Dozens of families gathered to make purchases of various items.
There was sale of household items, clothing, accessories, footwear, jewelry, food and others. 85 exhibitors participated.
More than 500 entrepreneurs have been supported in the 8 editions of the Making Community Bazaar.
There was an artistic presentation by the folk dance group «Aidin» and the Municipal School of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
A space from the Municipal Animal Health Council (COMUSA) was also present to invite citizens to adopt a canine.
-During the tour, the municipal president was accompanied by trustees and aldermen; secretaries and directors of the Municipal Government.
«The happy citizens and the entrepreneurs with whom we will always be committed to supporting them,» said Mayor Carmen Lilia Canturosas. «They will have the opportunity to find a way to move forward and the best way is for the Municipal Government to be by their side to support them in whatever we can in this bazaar»
